Club Rules
Club members are asked to observe certain basic rules when using club facilities;
- The clubhouse should be left tidy at all times;
- Tennis shoes with non-marking soles are the only footwear permitted to be worn on the courts;
- The courts are not to be used for any activities other than tennis;
- The nets should be slackened after play - they do not need to be fully lowered;
- To avoid mud on the courts, please do not retrieve balls from outside the court area until play has finished;
- Suitable sports clothing must be worn on court;
- Remove all food wrappers and drink containers from the court;
- No chairs to be taken onto court.
Court Bookings
Court times may be reserved by members up to three weeks in advance. Courts which have been pre-booked always take priority.
In the event of excessive demand for court use members are asked not to play for more than one hour.
Constitution
The club is run in accordance with the constitution.
The club's constitution governs the formal procedures of the club including acceptance of members, the determination and powers of the committee and the annual procedures.
Copies of the constitution are available upon application to the Chairman of the club.
Insurance
Members are advised that the club accepts no responsibility for injury or damage, howsoever caused, during the use of club facilities.
New Members
TTC welcomes new membership applications and prospective club members can apply on-line or by post. Please click in this area to access the application form(s).
The club’s year runs from May to April and reduced membership fees are available for members joining during the year.
