The Village League is an annual competition which started in 1993 whereby local villages compete for the Tonbridge and Malling Villages Tennis League’ Shield, the season’s winning Club then organises the competition for the following year.
Six teams have entered the Village League for 2011 with matches takings place during the Winter season and will hopefully be completed by the end of March 2012, weather permitting. As last seasons winners Trottiscliffe Tennis Club are defending their title against Offham, Kemsing, Ightham and two new teams, Leigh and Chipstead. Hildenborough, last season’s runners-up, are unable to take part this season.
